Cleaning very onetime bighorn sheep mount

   Recently got a bighorn sheep shoulder mount, very one-time and in skilful condition other than that what was once white hair is at present very dirty. Was hoping for some aid on the best style to get near cleaning information technology off without damaging information technology in whatever way. Hopefully this is the right board for this.    I'm afraid you can't go there from here. Wild sheep have brittle hair to begin with and age merely makes the state of affairs worse. Try this: accept a furrier's brush and just brush a small surface area of hide on the dorsum side of the mount. If information technology disintegrates, then you'll have to be satisfied with what you have. If it doesn't, then the best thing to Endeavor is to purchase some of the waterless shampoo for hospital patients and invalids they sell in pharmacies. Endeavor it on a like area before yous use it on the entire hide.
